ACLS Providers Class - Renewal

Renewal Class $170  /  $150 for Affiliates

 
You can only take a Renewal Class if:
  1. You have an American Heart Association Certification, and
  2. Your Certification has not Yet Expired for more than 90 Days.
  3. If you have already been expired for more than 90 Days, call us; we can help (516-860-7381)
 
(Must have Current Card if Renewing or not expired more than 90 days.)
 

AHA’s ACLS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills and emphasizes the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

The ACLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals who manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need an ACLS course completion card for jobs or other requirements.

What are the prerequisites for taking the ACLS Course?
Providers who take the ACLS Course must be proficient in the following:
• Performing high-quality BLS skills according to the current AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC
• Reading and interpreting electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Understanding ACLS pharmacology
• Providing bag-mask ventilation

 

Students will complete an online Pre-Assessment (which takes an hour at Max). The Prework(video lessons) can be done later at your leisure.

 American Heart Association ACLS Providers Completion Card is valid for two years.
