The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Precourse Self-Assessment evaluates a student’s knowledge before the course to evaluate proficiency and determine the need for additional review and practice. The PALS Precourse Work involves a student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects, including questions to engage the student.

 

The indirect class consists of online work, as described below.

The PALS Precourse Self-Assessment is an online tool that evaluates a student’s knowledge before the course to evaluate their proficiency and determine the need for additional review and practice. The student must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before taking the PALS Course. The student must print their successful completion certificate and bring it with them to class. The PALS Precourse Work involves a student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects, including questions to engage the student.

If you also need a BLS certification renewal, it's available as an add-on during registration. 

You can only take a Renewal Class If:

  1. You have an American Heart Association Certification, and
  2. Your Certification has not Yet Expired for more than 90 Days.
  3. If you have already been Expired for more than 90 Days, call us; maybe we can help (516-860-7381)

 Then, Choose the class date & time.

 Options are available after choosing the Date and time.

 You can add a BLS Renewal option to any ACLS & PALS classes.
