The American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course builds upon essential Basic Life Support (BLS) skills and highlights the critical role of high-performance teamwork in emergency care. The 2025 ACLS program incorporates the latest science and educational updates from the American Heart Association 2025 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is intended for healthcare professionals involved in the management or direction of cardiac arrest, stroke, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This includes those working in emergency response, emergency medicine, critical or intensive care, and surgical settings—such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics. It also applies to individuals who require an ACLS course completion card for employment or certification purposes.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a two-year ACLS course completion card.
